Artist's Description

The Charles W. Morgan, normally berthed at Mystic Seaport in Mystic Connecticut, docked at the Boston National Historical Park at the Charlestown Navy Yard during her "38th Voyage" in July of 2014.

During her stay in Boston the Morgan was berthed right next to the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides), the oldest commissioned warship afloat.

Brian MacLean is the father of two children. He is a local Massachusetts photographer who discovered his passion for photography 20 years ago after using his brothers camera. Brian enjoys shooting nature and landscape. He tries to capture the raw reality of nature, the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments, and try's to do his very best to take every picture with that in mind. He wants his viewers to relate to his photographs through recognition of and familiarity with the places, the emotions, and the energy as they are looking at a picture of a place that they may know.
