Orchard House is a historic house museum in Concord, Massachusetts, USA. It was the longtime home of Amos Bronson Alcott and his family, including his daughter Louisa May Alcott who wrote and set her novel Little Women in her bedroom of the house on a Shelf desk that was built for her by her father.
Fortunately, there have been no major structural changes to the house since the Alcotts' time, and on-going preservation efforts adhere to the highest standards of authenticity.
