The full blood moon lunar eclipse over Boston, Massachusetts in September of 2015.
This event was not only a lunar eclipse, it occurred during a super moon but also a full "blood" moon which is an extremely rare occurrence.
This image is obviously a composite since the full eclipse could not be captured in one frame but I enjoyed the way it came out.
Brian MacLean is the father of two children. He is a local Massachusetts photographer who discovered his passion for photography 20 years ago after using his brothers camera. Brian enjoys shooting nature and landscape. He tries to capture the raw reality of nature, the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments, and try's to do his very best to take every picture with that in mind.
